Once our malts have gone through the brewing processes in our brewhouse, we have the start of a great tasting beer, but we also have husks and other parts of the barley or wheat plants that have been filtered out. Rather than see it go to waste, or end up in a landfill, we send these leftovers to local farmers who use it as feed for their cattle.
