
If our brewmaster, Paul were a beer, we'd probably describe him as complex. On one hand he's passionately committed to consistency and honesty in our beers, and painstakingly works with our ingredients to ensure that every batch we brew tastes the same, regardless of variations in the malts, water and hops. However, he's always working on new recipes like our seasonal beers, which can really push the envelope of what beer drinkers expect. Maybe Paul is complex, or maybe he just is what he drinks.
Artists make great beer. Accountants, not so much. Which is why brewing a craft beer requires craft brewers, and all of ours, from original Brewmaster Bernd Pieper to our present team of brewers and masters, have shared a commitment to each beer's true taste.
The same is true of the scientists and technicians in our lab, who inspect the work with their test tubes and eyedroppers to keep Paul and his team on the level.
