You may or may not of already heard about these two gals who were selected as the Big Rock Festival Field Reporters.
If you have heard about them you may be wondering how they got this sweet gig. Simple. They applied and were the best candidates.
Check out their winning video submission here.
Here’s a quick intro:
Claire Dub is a seasoned folk-fest-goer. Bryn Bratton Wall is a girl who gets out and does stuff. Together they are quite the festival-going-team. Both are originally from Edmonton and they share a passion for music festivals – so it’s only natural that they travel across Canada together on this epic mission.

She regularly attends both the Edmonton and Calgary folk festivals where she has spent a considerable amount of time waiting in line in order to secure the best possible spot at main stage.
In her spare time Claire trains for marathons and does keg stands (while these two activities may appear contradictory Claire believes that the key to a good life is balance).
She was born in Edmonton, Alberta and finds great pride in her prairie upbringing. Claire currently lives in New York where she is studying architecture at Columbia University (and no, she hasn’t met James Franco, yet).

What kind of stuff does she do? Recently she saddled up and roamed the Chilcotin Country on the back of a Canadian Cayuse Mountain Horse. Before that she spent a year in Ghana, West Africa helping people who were suffering from guinea worm disease. (We should insert a special note here: Anyone who enjoys a pint at the Black Dog Freehouse - in Edmonton - would have spotted a piece of home in Ghana - where Bryn wore her BDF shirt with pride.) Before that she was in San Francisco studying activism and social change. Now, she finds herself painting Toronto red.
At her core Bryn is an Albertan and she shows the love everywhere she goes. When she hosted a radio show on the Trent University station Bryn played Western Canadian music exclusively (she probably wouldn’t have had a problem devoting the whole show just to Corb Lund).
To really get to know Bryn you've really got to meet her. So… if you see her around the festivals - either at the stage, in the beer tent, or while she jumps around uncomfortably while waiting in the ridiculously long porto-potty lines - say hi!
Stay tuned to our blog to hear more from them as they bounce around the country during the upcoming festival season.
You must be of legal drinking age to enter the brewery.
I'm of legal drinking age in my province/state.
