There is a new documentary called “Beer Wars” that would also be a cool flick.

On April 16 there is a one-day preview in 400+ theatres in the U.S. - but no screenings in Canada.

I actually called the producers of Beer Wars and asked if we could host a screening at Big Rock but, alas, they were not able to get it into Canada.

So I guess we have to wait.

Eventually I hope to see the documentary because the information is relevant to beer drinkers here in the great white north. I have only been able to gleen the tone of the documentary from the clips I have seen on their website (www.beerwarsmovie.com) but it seems to me that they examine the differences between smaller craft brewers and the large multinational corporations.

Some of the quotes in this movie are fantastic.
