One day, Brewmaster Bernd decided it was time for romance.
Every grain of ripe barley has a sweet heart. It’s full of complex, natural sugars. To create his beers, Bernd choreographed those sugars in a delicate dance. He transformed some into spirits, others into texture, flavour and sweetness. In most of Bernd’s creations, sweetness plays a background role. This time, he brought it centre stage.
Bernd never told us why he called it Black Amber. Perhaps it reminded him of someone.
